You should be getting close to completing your mask and slowly allowing it to dry. If you let it dry too fast, it is likely to crack and you will have to fix it if you can or you may end up having to start over. It is IMPORTANT to allow it to dry slowly.

REMEMBER it is required that you have a minimum of three different types of additions on your final mask. The finish on the mask with be an iron oxide stain. The additions will be adhered once the mask has been fired.
