We worked on NOTAN designs on block day, Wednesday October 21. There were a few students who I saw completely understood this assignment. There were many who DID NOT. So we are reviewing the process today. We will be doing a follow along exercise which will be graded. I want to make sure that everyone understands this process. After we have completed the exercise, students will plan out their NOTAN design on a piece of white computer paper. After the design is completed, students will redraw their completed designs of the good black Strathmore paper. Careful cutting will be emphasized. No parts should be glued down until all the cuts have been completed. Precise and careful gluing is also important on the assessment of craftsmanship.
